Hi, I am Constance B. Thompson, the founder, and CEO of Constant Beaute.
I am a US Army Veteran, a retired federal government employee, a dog mommy, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a published author.
How did I become an esthetician? As a child, I loved beautification. I played with my mother’s makeup, clothes, and shoes. As an adolescent, I modeled. As a model, I had to do my makeup and bring my clothes to the shows, this was fun, and I enjoyed it all.
However, as we are all told, we have to go to school and get a good job. So, after high school, I joined the Army, later got a job with the federal government then went on and attained my Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Development.
At the end of my career with the military and Federal government, I wanted to do what I truly loved, and that was beautification. Beautification has always been my first love. So, I had to come up with an exit plan; that plan was to retire and go back to what I loved, and that was back to doing makeup. I already knew how to do makeup from my modeling days, but this time, I wanted a certification. I did my due diligence and found the Esthetic Institute, which offered Makeup Artistry.
After I got my certification, I started doing makeup and handing out my business cards just to find out that the majority of the women who were interested in my services had skin issues, and I felt that I was doing them a disservice by applying makeup on problem skin. I believe makeup enhances a person's current beauty. What I don’t believe is applying makeup to problem skin. So, I registered back with the Esthetic Institute to become an esthetician. This way, I can educate my clients to achieve healthy skin. Afterward, they can use all the makeup they want.
The skin is the largest organ of the body. Taking care of the skin is one of the many ways we can remain healthy. This is the reason I created my skincare line, Constant Beaute. It is not tested on animals. It is gluten and paraben free, vegan, and made in the United States. It is ideal for treating all skin types and ethnicities.
After I created my skincare line, I wanted to educate people. So, I wrote a book titled Forever Young. As we are aware, no one will be young forever, but if you take care of your skin and provide your body with the right nutrients, you can look much younger than your biological age.
